Mission Statement
The SMT Music Cognition Group (MCG) seeks to promote the study and scholarship of music cognition and it implications for music theory and analysis.
Activities
Since 1986, the group has planned and presented several special sessions and poster sessions at national SMT meetings. It also maintains an e-list to discuss topics of interest and coordinate presentations and research activities.
