Mission Statement
The Autographs and Archival Documents Interest Group promotes scholarship that relies on sketches and other archival documents for analysis. We also support the creation of courses on this topic. This interest group was inaugurated at the 2016 Annual Meeting of the Society for Music Theory in Vancouver. Patricia Hall was the founding chair.
Activities
The Autographs and Archival Documents Interest Group plans short lightning talks and other activities in which members can share their recent research at SMT Annual Meetings.
Membership
We invite anyone with an interest in autographs and archival documents to join the group and to attend our meetings. To join the listserv, please visit http://lists.societymusictheory.org/listinfo.cgi/aadig-societymusictheory.org.
