Individuals may apply for more than one kind of travel grant for which they qualify, but may only be awarded a maximum amount of overall funding equal to the largest grant for which they have applied.
- Minority Travel Grant: Available to individuals belonging to an underrepresented ethnic minority group and who are citizens of, or currently residing in, the US or Canada.
- International Travel Grant: Available to non-US and non-Canadian citizens who reside outside of the United States and Canada.
- Independent/Unsupported/Undersupported Scholar Grant: Available to those who do not have academic positions, or who study or teach at institutions that do not support scholarly conference attendance.
