Mission and Activities
The SMT IT/Networking Committee oversees the electronic resources of the Society.
The committee develops and maintains the Society’s capabilities for online functionality and electronic communication in such areas as conference proposal submission, nomination and voting for elected offices, publication awards, membership renewal, and donations to the Society.
Committee members maintain the SMT web site, events calendar, discussion and announcement lists, and the presence of SMT on social media, including Facebook and Twitter (@SMT_musictheory).
The committee also provides consultation and assistance on digital media for publications, conferences, and other Society business.
